We value kindness: Actions or speech intended to help others.

Formal rules are in the works, but please use common sense (no politics or other unhinged nonsense). The rules will be as lenient as possible to avoid unnecessary censorship and minimize mod power trips.

Curation Policy: If a moderator has reason to believe that certain content is better categorized under a different post, then they may reply to the content asking if it would be better categorized elsewhere, and provide their rationale.

If no response:

Rule of 3: Mod must attempt 3 replies, spaced by (at least) 3 days after each reply.
If there is still no reply 3 days after the 3rd contact, then it is assumed that OP is in agreement, and the mod may curate by copying the content to a different post verbatim, then deleting the original content.

If OP replies:

Other Mod(s) must collectively ask at least 3 good faith questions to clarify OP's rationale, then the mods will vote and determine by majority rule whether to curate the content.
Majority votes to curate: At least one mod in favor of curation must post their rationale, and any dissenting mods may also post their rationale. After this, the mods will curate the content by copying it to a different post verbatim, then deleting the original content.
Majority votes to not curate: Content stays as is. Mod(s) may post their rationale(s).

Hello, not sure where I should be posting this so guess I'll start here if I'm allowed?

I'm looking to form a private online crisis network for those of us who're otherwise screwed, I myself am in a major everything-crisis and have literally nothing to turn to for help, not irl, not online, nothing, so I wanna at least get a potential ball rolling for us outcasts to have options, something, anything, especially for those of us stuck in third world hellholes or with governments/institutions/societies/whatever who fail/traumatise us and don't care and can't be trusted whatsoever. (Which is most of them)

Nobody will save us but us I guess, for better or worse, so I'm looking for active capable people who're able to help, in more ways then one (i.e. with but not limited to: abuse and violence, family and societal neglect, environmental pressures/issues, persecution, financial/housing/immigration/job finding/career crises, homelessness, stalking, isolation/loneliness, surviving as a misanthrope/introvert, forming watch/volunteer groups, finding found family and adoption, rescuing people who can't rescue themselves, etc.) as the goal is more on action and actually getting things done for each other, not just the usual mental health stuff, there's already a dozen of those around for whoever needs them.

Don't know what I'm doing tbh, am kinda forced to do this or otherwise I'll rot forever seeing as nobody else is bothering with this as far as I know, and life is hell right now, so bare with me, I'll just focus on setting stuff up and setting the rules or whatever, the actual helping others part I'll leave to more capable hands. Am thinking a matrix space will do? Idk, don't know what else is out there besides discord and matrix that might work for this.

Please be kind, I'm painfully aware that people like me are unwanted but I'm going through enough as it is, wouldn't be posting if I had literally any other options.
