Well, galliformes in general are kind of murder beasts. I've had some deluded roosters decide to pick a fight with me and I personally wouldn't want to tango with a full grown tom turkey. Never really dealt with peafowl, but I'd imagine they're about as nasty as their cousins.

Nah, they're closer related to emus.
And emus are worse, I'd rather not fight a bird that won a war against Australia.
