Explanation: A corvus is an ancient Roman naval boarding device of the kind shown, basically a bridge with a nail in it put on a warship. I think it's got some dark horse energy in this matchup, I'm betting on the corvus as the winner π

Well, the Roman vessel has legionnaires on it, and I skimmed the wiki for Corvette, but it seems to have a hand full of harpoons to attack, and a phalanx for self defense.
Everyone knows that's a terrible formation for a naval boarding action, so the romans are going to kick ass. Come on bro, 8 harpoons I've seen whalers with more harpoons in a rowboat.
(Also, that's a Saudi Corvette, you cheater!)

Oh, so the Romans win hands-down
During my 15 years in the navy, I've seen many American ships and had to work with them many times. I'd rather sail somewhere with 3 hostile Russian ships in the vicinity then 1 friendly American ship. Holy shit, are they stupid AF. Once I singlehandedly prevented an American ship shooting down it's own helo because he thought he was under attack. In front of the German coast. It's helo did a medical drop-off on the German mainland and was returning. They were about to open fire (final warning was read, but on the wrong frequency) when I shouted over the radio "HOLD YOUR FIRE, HOSTILE CONTACT IS FRIENTLY HELO, HOLD YOUR FIRE!"
I have maaaaany stories about how stupid the US military is. The corvus would win for sure.
