In vanilla, dwarven Cavemen are way ahead with an ascension ratio of 4%. Elven wizards are scummed to hell with 0.1% (3.4 million attempts). Rangers are also successful around 2%, but also among the rarest played (all races 120k), so probably experienced attempts. Most ascended (absolute) are again elven wizards at 3463, rarest are the 306 gnomish Rangers.

I guess dwarven valk stats are thrown off because all the new players are directed to start there, whereas only veterans are playing cavepeople.
