I feel like I heard somewhere that French inches were longer than English inches and that Napoleon was actually a little taller than average. Not gonna bother trying to find what youtube video I might have heard that from, though.

Fun fact: the British navy originally wanted to bring lemons on their ships, since they're higher in vitamin C and thus better for preventing scurvy, but they had made enemies of every lemon producing country in the world, so they had to make do with limes 😄
