That's rich. It was a cornerstone policy that he ran his first campaign on and then almost immediately after winning, he dropped it. He was also in power for 10 years with some of it as a majority. Clearly can't be too regretful.

I dislike the framing of this, of course Canada's voting system can change (and has changed in the past).
I'd prefer if it was framed as something to the effect of: is this the year Canada stops discarding millions of perfectly valid ballots?

Conversations like this are exactly how we get proportional representation. It's just human nature to be against injustice, just like FPTP.
