Since this all NSFW content doesn't show in my feed when visiting this instance. It still populates under my "everything" feed though. I also only have a handful of communities, mostly small NSFW ones, that appear under communities. Using Sync on Android if that makes a difference. Not sure if there's a better place for this.

I don't think I fully understand what you are saying. What was supposed to happen and what actually happened? In which instance are you experiencing the issue?
When I view the Lemmy nsfw instance the only posts that show up are ones not flagged nsfw such as those from tasteful diffusion, and non-nude ai generated images. I have to navigate to specific communities to view nsfw content.
Finally, after 11 days, it's fixed :)

And yet here we are again. Is this anything to do with the forty minutes the site was unreachable this morning?
Yeah. The automod we were using filled all the disk. I fixed things and took the opportunity to updating the instance to 0.19.11. This version was supposed to automatically flag posts shared in NSFW communities as NSFW, but it did not. I know, it's annoying.
Update: fixed (again).

I cannot: the NSFW flag appears on new posts but not on the edit post form.
It's default Lemmy UI right? Can you try other UIs like Tesseract?
I will try the other UI's and see if they let me.
Edit: that's done. OK so when we find ourselves here again I'm advising myself to use Photon because Tesseract and Alexandrite are abortions that are highly stressful to use on my desktop setup being full of stuff that makes no sense and gets in the way.

Sorry mate, new problem:
I uploaded my images to imgbox, save you the bandwidth, looks like they've been auto cached and are being served up directly from LemmyNSFW server. disk will be full again in no time if you do that.
Edit: Ah, no, scratch that, looks like it is fetching it from image host but via a cache. (trying to make reloading smoother for popular images?)
It's for privacy reasons. Remote servers shouldn't be able to see Lemmy NSFW users IP addresses. But I will add some exceptions for some providers like imgur, catbox etc.
imgur always deletes nsfw content, it'd be as well to keep it, IMO. imgbox and Catbox are the two I use.
NSFW posts from our instance seem to ignore voyager filter off NSFW content option.
They are blurred by default though.
Currently all NSFW content is shown even with hide NSFW option. It will be fixed in next release, probably in 2-4 weeks.
OK, if it's a known issue and working on being solved I'll rest easy.
Thanks for the hard work, I'm a rubbish sysadmin for a small flat. Can't imagine how much harder having folks all internetting in from any old IP and having to code the software. Hats off and kudos to you.
