What client?
Any. Is that a function of soulseek? I've never heard of it
Yes, in Nicotine+ it is very easy. It is right next to the search bar on there. It is the most "modern" and easiest client.
From what I can read, it's not a function of Soulseek. That's a function of Nicotine+ and all it does is automatically query Soulseek every few minutes and maybe download automatically if it finds something.
I don't use Nicotine so I don't know. It's almost certainly not a feature of Soulseek tho
i have it on the official client.
You see the "button" after searching, above the search bar, among other buttons, towards the right (sorry, i don't have it in front of me, i'm writing from memory
Sometimes the russian "ru tracker" has had some very obscure releases that I couldn't find anywhere else. Checking that site is definitely worth a shot. I recommend translating the website since it's in russian. Btw, it's a semi-private tracker, and in my experience you can only use the advanced search functionalities once you're signed up and logged in.
There are private music torrent trackers where you can request album rips against a reward (paid in a block of uploaded mb in ratio to those who might fulfill your request). I'm not personally a member of any private music trackers and it seems quite a pain to gain membership. You might look into it if you are super dedicated.
Alternatively, you could write the artist (if possible) and ask them for a lossless download with direct payment. Surely some artists would be delighted by that.
