[–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I actually have tomorrow off!

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Me too! The whole week actually!

Oooh are you gonna do anything with it?

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I am! My brother and my cousin are flying in tomorrow and we're gonna go hiking around the bay area and possibly do some mountain biking and then Saturday we're all going to a concert which is the main reason they're coming here.

I'm sure it will be! I moved to California last March and I haven't seen any of my family since then so it'll be great even if we just sit around. Of course they're excited to see all the cool "California stuff" lol so it'll be fun to show them around.

How do you find living in California? It always looks great on TV

I love it here. I'm never more than an hour or 2 from mountains or beaches or redwood forests and such. It's expensive to live here for sure but not undoable and worth the trade off. People are nice and weather is usually great.

For me it is! What's funny is people from California are the ones who hate it lol. The grass is always greener I suppose.

Train in the morning, smash a load of cheesey pasta for lunch, then watch telly while lemmying. Which is exactly what I'm doing now

I'll handle this one, Sgt. Angle!

Now. My perfect Sunday...

Just enjoying a sunny sunday out, hiking or just walking in a park/around a lake.
