An american court ruled about the Hippos in Columbia, so it 's just theoretical:
“The ruling has no impact in Colombia because they only have an impact within their own territories. There are 170 hippos in Columbia, they are all descendants of the 4 animals Escobar brought there in the 1970s. Their number will reach 1000 in 2035 if they can't find a solution.
