Beautiful countryside, and a wool shop every 10 meters.
Just read the tag and make sure you're getting something that's made in Ireland with Irish wool. There's a lot of shops that have a mix of made in China (labeled made in PRC usually) and made in Ireland. Even the smaller one owner shops usually sell both.
While you're down there visit the whole Killarney loop, it's a wonderful area with locals who love to take care of tourists. Bring plenty of cash for tips and roadside touristy stuff.
