bluesky/twitter is for posting tweets. I do understand private chats, however group chats are definitely out of scope for the project. sorry normies, you will need more than one app on your phone. as it should be, as a project for private group communications will (most likely) be better at its core functionality than a social network with a bolted on chat feature.

I suspect that it's not real. It's just people being naysayers/contrary.
Doesn't having a federated platform mean any group chats would be pretty much public?
They could be end to end encrypted.
