Albo was on QandA last week and I think he mentioned it in passing once.
I was wondering the same thing as the headline, and the thought occurred to me - and it's mentioned in the article - that though inflation is down, prices haven't decreased, and it doesn't really make anything more affordable as wages haven't gone anywhere.
So, the triumph of lower inflation just means that everything is less unaffordable than if inflation was higher. It continues to be a real struggle for a lot of people to make ends meet.
