I wonder what BlueSky is, given it's somewhat like Lemmy's pure "enough of this crap" attitude but a little too mainstream to be this jaded.

I pwrsonally really like bluesky. Everyone so far has been very friendly and right wingers get bullied out rather quickly. You can even mass block them using lists so they shout in the void and just leave.
That's the part I like, but I feel like fedi folk are more genuine. And uh, slightly autistic. But BlueSky is all positivity lol
I got recommended "gay movies" and " gay music" on bsky so i'm out. Nothing wrong with being gay. It's just wildly presumptuous.
Never thought about that kind of algorithm, haha. I heard stories of algorithms figuring people out before they did, it was a trend on TikTok, but it's kind of silly and mildly offensive since even if you were gay, why is that your entire feed, lol
I remember a load of people got furry porn on their discover feed for no reason.
So should I read the final image as "ahh, freedom..." or as "I can finally read the truth and now I need a smoke..."?
I read it as just pure exhaustion. The cigarette is to put some nicotine in your system so at least you feel something.
The body language and facial expression conveys exasperation/stress and exhaustion/burnout.
The long shot with the subject’s back against a wall implies escapism, a momentary reprieve.
The voyeurism suggested by the telephoto zoom on an isolated subject implies you are witnessing a secret, internal feeling that they keep from others.
The cigarette as a prop strengthens these interpretations, since it once was a more popular drug for relieving those symptoms and retains the symbolic value in spite of the stigma.
