Yeah I think the truck is ugly as shit and Elon is a piece of shit as well, but I cannot condone defacing someone else's stuff like that.
If it's not your property there are almost no acceptable reasons to touch it without permission from whoever owns it. At least that's how I was raised.

How about another angle, those trucks are dangerously designed and should never have been allowed on public roads in the first place. They’re a hazard to other motorists because of the speeds they’re capable of, and lack of crumple zones including stiff body panels that will protrude into other vehicles. And possibly even worse for pedestrians, with the knife edge sharpness on the body panels already causing deep gashes in some owners hands and arms. The corners and stuff body panels again will increase fatalities in pedestrian collisions.
Damaging or defacing them, or just making them less likely to be driven is a big win for public safety.

There’s an important distinction here: the Cyber Truck is a $100k status symbol. It is not a good truck, it is not a good electric vehicle, and it is not of high quality. That means the owners have way more money than sense, and decided to buy into the Tesla/Elon community.
