Anime characters who are partly, or entirely, technological. Or from works featuring sci-fi/cyberpunk/steampunk settings.

  1. Posts must feature "cyber moe". That is, anime characters who are cyborgs, robots, or very obviously from the future. Science fiction, cyberpunk, and even steampunk.
  2. No nudity. Lewd art is fine, but mark it NSFW.
  3. If posting a more suggestive piece, or one with simply a lot of skin, consider still marking it NSFW.
  4. Include a link to the artist in post body, if you can
  5. AI Generated content is not allowed.
  6. Positivity only. No shitting on the art, the artists, or the fans of the art/artist.
  7. Finally, all rules of the parent instance still apply, of course.

SauceNao can be used to effectively reverse search the creator of a piece, if you do not know it.

You may also leave the post body blank or mention @saucechan@ani.social, in which case the bot will attempt to find and provide the source in a comment.

The character is a well-known full-conversion cyborg.

Oh i see, it just looked fully human from that pic alone.

She's Motoko "The Major" Kusanagi, from Ghost in the Shell. Probably one of the most iconic characters of the genre.

Highly recommend the movies and SAC anime series.

The scene when she tear her own arm off trying to open the tank is burnt into my brain.

IKR. It's even better, when you realize she must have cracked her body's control firmware to make that happen. No way a cyborg body would allow exertion to exceed material integrity. Even today, we already have machinery that could tear itself apart if not for software-defined safety margins.

You know she got in there and changed the settings as a last ditch effort.
