Wait, why are we doubt?
Edit: Thanks everyone. That joke definitely went over my head tell it was explained.
Where we meme (joking in tone and detail, serious in sentiment) about General Sherman, the Civil War, and how the secesh traitors had it coming.
RULES
No bigotry. The Union, or at least the part of the Union WE support, fought AGAINST that shite. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, and in general anti-bigot here, even if not all the lads in Union blue uniforms were.
No Confederate sympathizing. Anti-democratic racist slaver traitors don't deserve shit.

General Sherman famously burned down Atlanta during the US Civil War.
I'm assuming this is fahrenheit because it's typically americans that do not mention the unit they are using
We expect the rest of the world to understand from context that Atlanta was not 98 degrees C.
No I just automatically assume when someone doesn't mention the tempreture unit online that they're american
I've seen it on lemmy too unfortunately because americans still haven't learned that there is a world outside of their country that doesn't revolve around them, americans with their arrogance and narcissism is one of the many reasons I hate americans
I would hope it's not in Celsius, otherwise I think we'd be seeing a world record.
