SF stand with Gaza and then softened on Russia, preaching the bollox of stopping bloodshed. They lost my vote last time because of this, Im not narrow minded enough to rule them out but I will be slow to give them something going forward as a result. SD all the way though
SF called for an end to arming Ukraine, a soverign country being invaded by a foreign authoritarian state all the while championing Irish rebellion as a core of their image.
Everyone wants peace, I dont think the way to do thatnis by telling the attacked to stop fighting back or failing that calling for the removal of their means to fight back.
You can call for peace without calling for Ukraine's means of protection being removed. They did not look good as a result of this and lost my vote this time around based solely on this.
How will western Europe benefit by sending more arms?
Are we out here trying to benefit from the invasion? That is opportunistic trumpism. We benefit by keeping united Europe, a Europe we can grow to include a huge new trading partner.
We also ae not sending much in the way of arms anyway, SF specifically called for others to stop arming Ukraine. They requested other not to support the victim.
They specifically did not request those who are benfitting from dark feet oil to stop, or those supplying chips for drones to stop.
Do you not see the issue, you can want peace without putting the onus on the victim, its really easy you just dont request they roll over.
