Me before opening the post: "There's such a thing as a cat warmer?"

Me after: "Ohhhh, that cat warmer"

There actually are heat pillows that are specifically sold for pets.

They have several of those scattered around the house too. I think they prefer getting actively blasted by the warm air. It's apparently also pretty fun to step on the power button and interrupt my gaming too.

Precisely why my case has a power button on the front!

When my daughter was a toddler she would sometimes sneak up and press the power button on my PC when I was in the middle of a gaming session, then giggle mischievously. I outsmarted her by taping a piece of cardboard over the button.

I had to disable the button in OS settings for LAN parties as everyone would meme each other by pressing the button. Hold to power off still worked enough gave enough time to stop them from holding it lol

I unplugged my power button for a while, but kept having to plug it back in. I've disabled it in Windows, but if my cat steps on it for long enough it will still shut down. Gives me some time to try and stop her if I see it happening though

I had the same problem with my previous case.

I ended up placing a coaster with a cork back over the buttons, the cork helped it to not slide around.

What other possible purpose could it serve? 😸

Real gamers leave the top vents unoccupied. Do I mean "no cats" or "no fans"?
