Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

At first, yes. But as i grew older, dark mode is needed because it helps with the eyes.

everything possible on my phone is dark mode. i am prone to migraines tho.

Yes yes ok... I know.

On the phone. Where power saving is important. Where oleds are commonplace now. Where individual pixels turn off when fully black. I think a pixel that is off will use less power than one that is on, no?

But beyond all that, isnt it just a preference? Some people like white mode, others like dark. We dont all have the same eyes and brains.

I personally dont like light mode one bit and go the extra mile to get dark mode on my devices, but i dont care if someone else uses light mode. Cut it out, let people do what they like.

I have Dark mode at lowest brightness on my phone at night. Soon as I go to anything that loads a stupid white background it feels like flash bang.

I've never understood the histrionics over 'dark mode'
