Geez, no one talks about SNES MK anymore. Before the blue shell, we remember!
The SNES Mario Kart is still the one I've played the most and am the most nostalgic for.
I played ao much MK64 in college that I can confidently beat literally anyone in that game. I can't say there's really any other game where this is true for me.
I played so much MK64 that I know can't beat literally anyone, but have found I can beat everyone that makes statements like this. I know how many people I can't beat, and they make up the top thousand or so positions of this list.
I would say that I am not good, but better than the average player at this game. It is the only game I say this about.

I think he's suggesting that if someone doesn't know their world ranking, then they might be quite good, but not seriously good. And if they are world ranked, they wouldn't claim "they could beat anyone" unless they were the world champion. In which case they would know.
Bur he can't really know anything about your skills from a comment, so who cares. Either way, you'd both certainly smash my sorry ass.
I didn't really go too deep into thought about this when I was crafting my reply. I don't think I'm the best in the world. I am just like pretty sure that I'm top 5% or so haha. So i just most people wouldn't be in that top 5%. Hwoever I'm definitely 0ut if practice at the moment and would need to prep.
