I mean Parasyte is definitely inspired by Carpenter's The Thing.
True. Just thinking that usually the Thing tries to mimic what its copying, doesn't usually just have eyes on its hand for no reason.
If only someone didn't shoot the dude blatantly ignoring people and really wanted that dog did.
