resident Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States will take over and own the Gaza Strip, adding that "the same people" should not be in charge of rebuilding and occupying the land.

I'm pretty sure a lot of those people don't even care about Palestine, it's just an excuse to hate the centre-left. As another example, in the UK, the Labour party have been the ones receiving all of the hostility for not being pro-Palestine enough, despite the Conservatives being even less supportive, even when the Conservatives were the ones in power for half of the war.
