Apparently the actor voiced a few episodes of the reboot before he died. I wonder how they're going to handle it.

Yeah I'm very curious as well. I'll be honest I think that should have been a nail in the coffin of the reboot. They've already lost lucky and Luanne

While very sad, it could work well for a prequel as he would be much younger.

They could even make it part of the story and reuse some King of the Hill lines for the final as a way for his voice to finally drop so to speak. Maybe it got changed from all the bug fumes.

I don’t think today’s kids are willing to see how racist Arlen would be in the 1970s. Im not sure we can feature enough people smoking to make it feel right.
