Woohoo, Juno Dawson! Her work on Redacted was pretty solid, her deep lore skills really shone through.
I have to admit I sped through the Pete McTighe paragraph and misread "Returning is PM... as showrunner," and I almost choked on my coffee.

Yeah, it's a double-take of a sentence.
"Kerblam" was an interesting-but-flawed episode, and my memory of "Praxeus" is...fuzzy, at best.
Even just the idea of Pete McTighe as showrunner has ruined my night. Yuck.
I have never read any Juno Dawson, but as a librarian I see her books come through pretty often and I've always heard good things!
I love that every time I see a post about "Doctor Who" my brain does not think about the show but goes "Doctor who did what now?". Momentarily confused I reread the title and check the sub. Then I get happy memories of Amelia Pond! Have to rewatch that soon.
Ooh, neat. I loved "Kerblam"!
These are all great choices, except what in the world is Pete McTighe, writer of the most quietly evil Doctor Who episode ever made (and then one of the most forgettable), doing there?
