Government censorship isn't about East-vs-West. We need to move beyond nationalism and recognize that wealth is about power, money, and violence; those are things that exist in China and Russia as well. And don't say "Western" when you probably just mean the US.

Does searx not just search a bunch of other search engines ?

If you use "demonstrations" nothing shows up, if you use "demonstration" you do get results

I get plenty results on duck. Maybe that's an EU thing tho (i live in EU)

Can you be more specific about what results should have shown up? When you include quotation marks around a seach term it specifically looks for instances of those terms.
