I installed tf2 last weekend after a 5+ year break because cs2 axed arms race which was basically the only mode I used for quick play. And deathmatch is shit, enemy pops up from nowhere, it's dumb.

There's a custom map out there for hl2dm that's a take on soccer, but the ball is really heavy and can kill you as it's jettisoned by your opponents gravity gun. Hella fun.
