Can't help but feel like it would have been great to bring him in now.
But, pretty big if true considering the other clubs that are after him. Also makes me feel like we may be looking at next season for silverware.

On the one hand this is a great acquisition for us, but it's also leaving me concerned because does this mean we're going to persist with Rice at 8? If so doesn't that mean we still don't have cover for DM with Partey and Jorginho leaving? I'm glad that we're getting our primary targets though, even if they're a little late.
I feel like the transfer market can be tough at the best of times, let alone in Jan when every club also knows we're a little desperate.
I don't envy anybody involved in the recruitment process. Sounds like a lot of long nights.

Well, hope they sign a good striker on side too.
Reports are emerging that we're trying. Apparently we were rebuffed with an offer for Vlahovic last week and we're back in for Sesko this week.
