Right, and Rush Limbaugh is a saint

You need to be dead 20 years to qualify for sainthood.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 14 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Worst people on earth, and you say Clinton and Soros? Shit take lol.

[–] theonlytruescotsman@sh.itjust.works -2 points 11 months ago (2 children)

The extreme racist that spent a career killing brown kids and deciding which brown kids to kill, and the extreme racist imperialist billionaire?

If you dislike Trump but don't dislike Clinton, you're actively in a cult.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago (1 children)

They aren't even close. But do go off.

You're right, Trump has done no where near the amount of damage that the Clinton dtnasty has. I mean NAFTA alone ruined tens of millions of Americans lives and it's effects can still be felt in the dying towns across the US.

Clinton dynasty? Rofl. Trump doing no where near the amount of damage. Lol nafta ruining lives? Omg. You should do stand up. You're FUNNY making stuff up like that!

[–] theonlytruescotsman@sh.itjust.works -5 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I'm sorry you've never been poor and never have known a blue collar worker. Hopefully you get out your privileged little tower soon and meet people. They'll be more than happy to tell you why NAFTA encouraging off shoring of a lot of good paying jobs ruined their parents' and their neighbors' lives.

It was quite literally the most economically devastating bit of legislation in the 90s and 00s

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Swing and a miss! I'll give you a little hint, it's not nafta to blame. It's Reagan but nice try!

[–] theonlytruescotsman@sh.itjust.works -5 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Reagan signed NAFTA into law allowing companies to get tax breaks for offshoring?

Weird. Usually you people deny neoliberalism as a concept since it reveals there's no difference in the economic goals of either major party given they're the same ideology.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Nope, not what I said either. Also what do you mean "you people"? Funny that they don't have the same ideology, but you say they do. Curious.

Oh, you're just a troll account, got it.

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Heavens no. But that's the impression I got from you

"Eat the rich! Except George Soros! Let's keep him!" 🤣

I believe I read that Denzel is included and he’s a national treasure.

Biden had a fleeting moment when he pulled out of the presidential race when it looked like history would remember him kindly. But since then, he seems to have worked extra hard to be remembered as one of the worse POTUS in history.

Clearly the man is on his way out and just doesn't give two fucks anymore. He does any indecent thing without any sort of restraint. It¨s really quite remarkable.

[–] jimbolauski@lemm.ee 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I'm not sure he is capable of making any decisions, he can't even read a teleprompter any more.

[–] Kaboom@reddthat.com -1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

That's a good point. It's not really Biden, it's the people behind him. He's just the face

[–] WhatYouNeed@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago (2 children)

So what steps should be taken to prevent those behind the throne having power?

[–] jimbolauski@lemm.ee 0 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Remove politicians from positions of power.

[–] WhatYouNeed@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

That doesn't make sense. The person backing the politician will just switch to another, and you're back to square one.

[–] jimbolauski@lemm.ee -1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Only politicians run for office and are the ones we shouldn't trust with the power. The solution is to minimize any power given to politicians.

[–] WhatYouNeed@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

If the politicians don't have power, who would? An unelected court?

[–] jimbolauski@lemm.ee -1 points 11 months ago

We can't trust politicians with power and the government can't function without them, the best solution is to limit the power they can wield.

[–] Kaboom@reddthat.com 0 points 11 months ago

That's a hard question and one I'm unqualified to answer.

But requiring politicians to not be senile would be a good start.

[–] realcaseyrollins@thelemmy.club -2 points 11 months ago

This is an insanely random assortment of rich Democrats. I wonder why these people all got this award.

[–] Kaboom@reddthat.com -4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I honestly wonder if he's trying to fuck over the dnc somehow. Surely no one wants to leave this kind of legacy in the last few days of their presidency.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 6 points 11 months ago

Lol DNC legacy. I'm sure no one will remember this in a week. I think they just to pat themselves on the back while they can. Very sad energy.
