So today I'm getting chest dysphoia really bad, and I feel sad and upset. I'm hoping I can get on HRT soon but I know it'll be a long time, especially since I just came out. So I wanted to ask, how does everyone here who hasn't started HRT yet cope with chest dysphoria? Is there something I can do to maybe feel better, even just temporarily?

Many crossdressers use "breast forms", fake silicone breasts that one be worn with a bra. Some come as a "bra", of sorts. It may be worth looking into for you. AFAIK it is recommended to not go for the cheapest ones though, because cheap silicone can be smelly and/or uncomfortable to wear.

I found a regular padded sports bra gave a pretty good look (especially since I had some chest fat from being overweight), but because I knew it was just padding I ended up feeling worse overall. YMMV.
