It's too late now, but Terry Pratchett would have been spectacular.

Apart from him, though, I think Charlie Brooker could write some amazing episodes.

Yeah Charlie Brooker was my first thought too!

I'd also like to see what Sally Wainwright could do with Doctor Who, as well as Charlie Covell who I think is just a great writer in general.
