$2700 for two weeks, offered in some nice locations

Would’ve paid off!

I think my dad paid $600 back then. And yeah, it got me into an IT career.

Pretty sure it says two-week sessions, so $795/2 weeks

Ya then adjust for inflation to understand a bit more of the level of pain of giving the kid the privilege, nice of parents to do!

Yeah, but they're only teaching basic and Pascal .

Dad put me in one, 2 weeks, 2 summers. It was all indoors though.

We met the guy in his living room and he sold dad on it. We spent a week learning BASIC on VIC-20s and the next week we teamed up and wrote our own video games. Ultimately that led me into IT work in my 30s.

Do you have a chance to swim or run in the sunshine morning on a farm ?

Assembly Language, Advanced Electronics, and Artificial Intelligence. Oh yeah, those 3 things in one sentence.
