Prime Video's 15-epsiode antholgoy series 'Secret Level" won't thrill video game fans or newcomers with it's dull storylines and animation.

I thought they were fine. The Pac Man, New World and Armoured Core ones stood out for me. Some of them felt superfluous (looking at you Crossfire) and it was disappointing they didn't explore a greater variety of art styles. However for what it was I thought they were an entertaining enough watch.

Not every single episode was a smash hit but they weren't dull and this writer's takes are bad (aim them at children??).

Pac Man, Warhammer, Armoured Core, and Sifu, were all fantastic, and The Outer Worlds one was pretty good (better than Mickey17 imho). The DnD one was kind of boring, as was mega man and spelunky, but the fantastic episodes are 100% worth watching and I haven't finished all of them yet.

The PacMan one really stuck with me.

Agreed. I only watched a couple before I got bored with it.
