It should be more explicitly clear whether this tracking relies on you installing their app or not.

I’m personally more concerned with what tracking the vehicle is broadcasting or collecting without the app… SiriusXM, built-in GPS and cellular, etc.

C'mon CR - level the playing field by detailing how to prevent it for all of them.
