The allocator_api feature has been stabilized, on track to release in Rust 1.100 (github.com)

1.100 is looking to be an interesting release, with the allocator api and never type (and dependency cooldowns in Cargo). Which is kind of nice for a round number release.

Pretty interesting! This has been unstable since forever and, while it is mostly useful in more niche scenarios, it's a great addition to stable Rust.
