The other one is like "well, whatever" as if it's just a normal caturday.
What makes you say that? In my experience, Torties are generally shy and don't really exhibit any mischievous behaviors. They're perfectly happy with hiding under the blankets all day long, only coming out once in a blue moon to eat, poop, and greet their preferred human of choice. They don't have much ambition at all and couldn't care less about going outside, unlike most cats.
Domestic cats have individual personalities, but coat colour and pattern are unrelated. There is no scientific evidence to support it, it's all anecdotal. There are however some behavioural trends among cat breeds.
There are an abundance of domestic cats that need homes.
