Maybe someone could ELI5, how having his name on the building is going to somehow raise revenue? Or is it just a matter of, "Trump is refusing to fund the place unless they put his name on it"?

Why create new news community? I'm tired of getting banned by crazy lemmy moderators under made up reasons for posting news articles (likely reddit subversive operation).
Also most of news communities are empty - this one will be full of content.

Weird argument IMO. Never knew you could "donate" money and ask for it back if they don't do exactly what you want.
