At some point, you have to hit the ground. Your experience as a pilot determines how well that goes.
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. No mention is made of the passengers.

IIRC that’s a fairly famous runway that’s extremely close to the ocean shore, and people flock to it to have a jet come in danger close over their heads.

If I'm thinking of the same one, it's rather short, too. For a larger plane, every last bit of tarmac would be essential to having enough runway to come to a stop.

people have a very hard time judging height from a distance... that could still be 100-200 ft from the ground.

The shadows appear to be midday allowing measurements from the plane's shadow to its wheels. I don't know plane size so wheels could be 4 to 5 feet tall. I can tell it is not the larger or smaller ones. Estimating from there I get 30-40 feet above ground. I would allow some perspective to account for some difference here, so I'd say it could be up to 80 feet. I highly doubt it is even 100.
