Love a queen sacrifice to the king for a checkmate.

Imma do a little different here.

H4 Rook to D4, taking black Rook.

Black Rook is covered by Bishop, but this is safe for at least one turn, because taking the trade would leave Black Queen vulnerable. Black's next move will have to be retreating the Queen to somewhere safe, giving White Rook time to escape as well ... possibly right back to H4, possibly to E4 to set up an attempt at checkmate. And White's Rook needs to be moved anyway, as it's threatened by Black Queen already, possibly setting up for a trade of Rook and Queen for Queen only.

Edit: Looked at the proposed "solution". Won't spoil it here, but it seems way worse to me than what I proposed.

You can't put yourself in check. That's called a pin.

Black can just recapture on D4 with the bishop. The F2 pawn becomes pinned to the king on that diagonal so capturing the queen becomes impossible.

The proposed solution is checkmate, so I'm not sure how yours would have been better regardless.

This allows rook takes rook on H4 with a discovered check losing back the queen in addition to the rook and being down two pieces at the end

Its silly! Taking the queen is not the move here. Moving the white queen to force the king to take is, putting it in a corner for the rook to mate
