Quite an interesting race, from the clusterfuck of the first few laps to the close fights at the top near the end. Though the rain once again managed to avoid the whole race. Missed F1 during this summer break, today compensated that real nice.

Hulkenberg scored once again hell yeah, and what a save around the lap 1 crash! Also Alonso managing to get a P9 is quite nice, Aston Martin is getting there performance-wise. Also Tsunoda did a real good drive, liked the overtake on Gasly, quite bold move.

Such a weird team order by mercedes to swap Antonelli and Russell, even both of them questioned the decision.

Extra: It has been 0 Grands Prix since Sainz has a collision because of not seeing something blue

Russell wanted to play the team game just a few minutes before, he just though to his benefit.

It's after the summer break. It's fine to prioritize the championship leader now.

It worked out. Antonellli deserved P2, and Russell fought like hell and really earned that P3.

That was a really impressive hard fought defense of Hamilton.

I dunno. He could have possibly been on podium had Leclerc gotten out of his way earlier. I think his frustration is valid... Particularly considering how Ferrari once again basically gave him no real information to work off of. It just feels like he is somehow the smartest one in their room despite simultaneously driving the car, and that can't be a good feeling from the cockpit. I would be frustrated too. It just highlights how Ferrari strategy is regularly not on point.

This is a track that's notorious for difficult passing, and obviously when discussing two teammates, team orders are part of the conversation. Not to mention, the team has incentive to finish as high as possible, irrespective of which driver finished higher. It's more complex than "just pass him". Hamilton had a point. Mercedes did it quick and they finished as strong as they reasonably could. Ferrari didn't, and possibly/likely lost a spot because of that decision.
