Low key, this would make a cool wallpaper without the caption

Tbh, this sounds like how Christmas has been intruding into Halloween, except it's people obsessed with pumpkin spice intruding on summer.

Granted, I'm from the US, so you probably don't have the same cultural baggage over there

ireland's a bit more northerly than the u.s., so our seasons aren't synced up.

for us, lΓΊnasa is a very old pre-christian festival marking the beginning of autumn & the harvest season, held on the 1st of august.

samhain, which begins at sunset on the 31st of october, marks the end of autumn & the beginning of winter, so it's always a little bit weird to hear U.S.ians talking about autumn stuff well into november, but that must just be how the seasons are when you're slightly more southerly in the northern hemisphere!

Check out this rad nerd rock song about trick or treating as a kid by the band Ludo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3opsCC3x6rQ

not too disappoint, but the bats where released and flew through the whole summer, you might see them, just look up during twilight
