The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has granted Boeing an amended type certificate for the new 737-7 airplane, formally clearing the narrow-body jet for commercial passenger service. This major regulatory approval marks a critical milestone for Boeing Commercial Airplanes as it officially validates the safety and flightworthiness of the smallest member in the 737 MAX family.
