Now they are extrapolating estimated figures as annual when it hasn't even been out a full month? What a terrible article. And jumping the gun when price of the Steam Machines could go up even more with component costs not locked in for years for Valve, but closer to months so more affected by changing part costs.

MODERATORS
It sounds like they multiplied weekly sales by 52. I don't think that is a valid approach here.
Though it does sound like current sales are at least good, despite the RAM crunch.
At the rate of ram prices the steam machine might come without ram later or the sale price would be mich higher.
