tbf that's most people. most people don't even know the basics of how economy works at large. for example, tell me, how many kg of concrete / steel are being produced per person per year (worldwide average, without looking it up)? how many kg of cereals per person per year? how many kWh of energy per person per year?
what's the average population density for rural areas / cities?
Most of those statistics are useless without knowing the effect they have on the world. Knowing how much concrete is produced doesn't mean much until you multiply it by the amount if CO2 released per kg. Total steel production tells you little about which steels are produced, what uses various types have, and how elastic the supply and demand are for each. How much cereal people eat doesn't matter unless you consider who buys it and what effects it has on people's health. Energy use per person needs to be contextualized with how that use differs across the globe, how much energy goes into the goods those people consume, and why those differences exist.
Understanding the economy requires more than just knowledge. You need the wisdom to know what that information actually means.
Gotta keep us at odds with the miniscule things so we don't start to agree with each other in the bigger things. It's not red vs blue, it's us vs them. The havs and the have nots. Once you change the argument to that, you can start making progress.

I find the idea of the one bathroom pretty dope. I hate it whenever I go to an establishment and there's a mens and womens restrooms. Demolish the whole thing, have them both unisex or merge them together so everybody can have an individual stall.
As a man, whenever I see a long line for women and short line for men, it makes me feel sad for the women when they can use the stalls we have.
