The title needs to be more like "The DNC is finally waking up to the the massive cost of their accepting Israel's bribes" It was always toxic. The loss of the 2024 election proves that. They will lose 2026 and 2028 too if they dont acknowledge the obvious. Democratic party voters generally dont like funding murder and fascism. You'd think their "professional" highly-paid "strategists" would be able to understand that.

The loss of the 2024 election proves that.
I really don't think that it does, unfortunately.
It is interesting, however, that the people who voted third party, or sat out in protest will simultaneously believe that there both were and weren't enough of them to affect the outcome, depending on what argument they're trying to make.
The hard truth is that winning without support of AIPAC has been really hard in the past. Certainly a part of the reason Bernie never became president for example. This only started to turn with Gaza.
It also shows that not taking AIPAC money, has to be rewarded by voters.

Well maybe the the Democrats who felt they couldn't win without AIPAC support should move to Israel and try their luck over there. They say they hate Netenyahu, well they can run against him! (Looking at you Schumer!) I'm sure AIPAC would love that.
Only 31 members of US Congress dared to not use funding from the Israel lobby. 3 Republicans, Bernie and 27 Democrats. Also Vermont is awesome with all of them not taking Israeli blood money.
Running against AIPAC grantees your opponent gets extra funding and most of the US media is against you. It really is not easy to win that. It becomes easier the more refuse though, as that forces AIPAC to fund the Republicans
Israel has a LOT of money going into the pockets of a LOT of politicians. I'm fairly convinced coercion and threats are also part of that equation. See: Epstein Island
APIAC support should be a litmus test and every single DNC incumbent and primary candidate that fails it should be replaced. publicly shamed, and socially ostracized.
There should really be a litany of litmus tests but I guess we'll have to settle for not spending our tax dollars on turning Palestinian kids into skeletons.
You'll get your wish soon. Aipac support will soon be a thing of the past, now that isreal can get funds straight from their new partnership with three letter agencies. Tax dollars that go to the Pentagon will be sent without any necessary disclosure to whatever they want
Yea USA is really on the precipice. Like I genuinely think if Americans don't reign this in hard in the midterms and 28 than the USA will fracture.
I doubt they'll get that through before the midterms. Largely thanks to the backlash against AIPAC. But it's not like they'll lift a finger to walk back any other monstrous shit Trump has made into law.
Glad you reminded me, I hadn't checked my new rep for AIPAC contributions. Looking pretty good! It'd be nice to have someone in TN not bought by AIPAC.

Tennessee is fucking hopeless for at least an entire generation. Full Republican control and gerrymandered to fuck. TN has a few awesome reps, but they are in the minority and hold essentially zero power outside of generating a few headlines. But the TN legislative loves to silence the black representation. For such a beautiful state, it's local government is all power, greed, and corruption.
That kinda talk has been going on in TN since I was a kid. They said the same thing about Georgia not too long ago. I'm of the mind that breaking one-party control generally looks hopeless right up until it starts to buckle, and then change can appear to happen quickly. Sorta like gradual wear on a machine manifesting in a sudden dramatic failure. I don't know if or when we'll pull that off in TN but I don't think it's hopeless.
That guy is going good places, I've heard about him
Didn't they JUST strike down an attempt at stopping funding for Israel?
Also this is a bullshit both sides hit piece aimed at garner more votes for the right or whatever new hydra head that will pop up post Trump.
