For those that seek a future that brings together the best of the insights and objectives of people who, within the social democratic and democratic socialist traditions, have worked through farmer, labour, co-operative, feminist, human rights and environmental movements, and with First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, to build a more just, equal, and sustainable Canada within a global community dedicated to the same goals.

This community is not managed by NDP staff.

yeah I don't get why more of the dems don't go way left. maga is never going to support them and any normal person is not going to have anything to do with the republicans at this point. As long as your not saying we are going to overthrow capitalism or such everything is good.

While this topic isn't about the US, to answer your question; because they aren't left.

Socialist policies have Been the only things to really make the west great. We need to stop apologizing. Protesting workers have been met with machine guns and death too many times already to give up.

Ain't nothing wrong with being a socialist. We need to go harder left though. Until there are no more homeless and no more hungry. These are, or should be, human rights, written in stone in the Charter.

The NDP isn't socialist enough still imo. While it's understandle for now since they are trying to get a bigger slice of the liberal democratic pie and appeal to the "average canadian", I sincerly hope they start pushing Scientific Socialism policies and eventually a flat swap to real Scientific Socialism and after watching a few interviews (with non-traditional sources), I do think Avi isn't just "playing the game" and is legit willing to take the needle as far towards the left as possible.

So yay for now :3
