As opposed to what? Voting directly for fascism? What are you suggesting?

(And don’t say “throw away your vote on a third party candidate” because we all know how the US works)

Whatever happened to y'all's favorite "don't let perfect be the enemy of good" catchphrase? Or is that something y'all only pull out when it's convenient to con people into abdicating their political autonomy and obeying the party lines?

Even when there is no prospect whatsoever of their being elected, the workers must put up their own candidates in order to preserve their independence, to count their forces, and to bring before the public their revolutionary attitude and party standpoint. — Karl Marx

Certainly better than voting for MAGA’s fascism, no?

You fail to see that both approaches are valid in the correct context. Establishment Dems need to go. But the right place for that are the primaries.

If an actual progressive doesn't get endorsed or runs as an independent in the actual elections, you might need to hold your nose and vote blue. That way you get another chance for change the next time around. If you don't vote whoever isn't MAGA, I honestly don't think there will be a meaningful next time to vote. MAGA is already trying their best to rig the elections. If the house (and hopefully senate) don't change this time, I think the experiment is over.

So by all means press for change in the primaries. What the US desperately needs is to overturn citizens united, but also a reform to the election system. First past the post is toxic.

60 terms of “holding our noses” btw.

Please ignore the fact you are witnessing Democrats praxing their true values on Mamdani.

How dare the voters exercise their duty to the Republic by electing people who they believe represent them! Don't they understand that ITS OUR TURN?!!?! we DESERVE to be enriching ourselves with insider trading while the working man starves! It's for the good of EVERYONE*!!

I hate when the term centerist is used for right wing folk. Im left of center if center was where it should be.
