Can't really remember anything recent. Years ago I borrowed my dad's old bike from the 1980's since mine was in the shop. The handle bars must've had a hairline crack, because they suddenly sheared off and I crashed hard into the asphalt bike path. Scraped up pretty bad including my wenis :(

I had just enough time to comically stare at my detached handle bars and have a brief moment of realisation before the front wheel did a 90' turn.

I’ve heard of a “bussy” but never a “wenis”. What’s going on here? Typo or new slang?

Edit: it’s elbow talk.

[–] remon@ani.social 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's the skin on your elbow.

[–] Noel_Skum@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 days ago

Yeah - I just did a quick web search. Always good to learn something new.

[–] neidu3@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 days ago

I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one with that misunderstanding to begin with. Hope it helps.

TIL what a wenis is...

Yesterday, I was taking off my t-shirt and elbowed the corner of my wardrobe. Couldn't sleep cause it hurt to keep my arm in one position.

I enjoy bouldering, so I have scrapes all over all the time. However, even when I'm not climbing for a while I am covered in bruises and scrapes, so maybe I'm just clumsy.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 day ago

I wanna start bouldering again. The heat killed my motivation though

[–] zxqwas@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I read that as the opposite of bussy and the question is much more amusing that way so I refuse to correct it.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The opposite of bussy would be an enlarged clitoris right? When did you last hurt your microdick?

[–] zxqwas@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Are you trying to be funny or insulting?

[–] replicat@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Anyone else read this post with a Scottish accent?

[–] JayGray91@piefed.social 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Technically it's my elbow as I accidentally tried to K.O. a concrete pillar, as it did not break skin

Actually now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time my new word of today, wenis, was injured.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 day ago

See? Like I injure my elbow all the time. But the wenis remains unharmed

[–] TabbsTheBat@pawb.social 4 points 2 days ago

A few months ago, when I tried standing on a shelf thingy, put my leg right through it, and scraped my wenis on the wall on my way down

[–] Skunk@jlai.lu 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I’ve just fallen on the floor randomly, I blame you.

My wenis is ok tho.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 day ago

Thank goodness..... I apologize regardless

[–] snoons@piefed.ca 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It was icy and I was running. There were snow banks on either side of the sidewalk and I automatically curled up into ball as I fell so it was this human in the shape of a ball bouncing down the sidewalk. Anyway, that's the last time my wenis was injured. Nothing cereal, just a bruise.

Just a week ago. I put my elbow down on the table and it hurt ... when I checked it had some big scratches on it. Cat must have used it for kneading while I was asleep.

[–] linkinkampf19@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Personally never have, but with all the movement below, I'm certain somebody hurt theirs.
