The soundtrack on Youtube, longer and not the same order though

Mick Gordon's fantastic soundtrack for the Doom reboot from 2016 on double LP. I guess a lot of people here are at least familiar with it. If not, this is a super heavy mix of industrial metal, djent and electronics. One could argue this soundtrack made the game what it is. Easily on my top 5 video game OSTs.

Before this, Microsoft and Rare hired Mick Gordon to do the soundtrack for the Killer Instinct Reboot from 2013. Then followed four soundtracks for ID Software/MachineGames and Bethesda. The Wolfenstein reboot from 2014 and its sequel in 2017. The Doom 2016 reboot and Doom Eternal in 2020. The Doom Eternal OST was equally phenomenal, but sadly accompanied by ID Software and Bethesda fucking over Gordon. That ended their cooperation in what I would describe as four of the best soundtracks in gaming.

I heard if you play it backwards you can hear a message from the Teletubbies about friendship.

That is exactly what I meant with ID Software and Bethesda fucking over Mick Gordon. Really sad end to this fantastic collaboration.

Oh, right, sorry for not checking your comment first m-(. Just saw the soundtrack linked and asked myself if that was it, so immediately looked for Mick's article.

No worries, good thing you linked it!

Man, you're a pleasure. How can I find more people like you to be around?

Likewise. I think you already found the place.

Ooh I love the look of this! The red vinyl and the cover art work together so well!

Can you run doom on your record player though? 😂

This soundtrack is incredible! Lucky you for getting a copy on vinyl. 😄

Nice, I have a copy of this as well, one of maybe only 4 vinyls I have.

I've also got the Helldivers 2 OST.

One of the songs on this absolute banger of an album has a pentagram and 666 if you run it through a spectrogram

Nice! I almost put the same record on yesterday, but decided on De Stijl by The White Stripes instead.
