There is an ominous undertone from the reflection of the coyote being right underneath the duckling. Very beautiful photo, thanks for sharing!

Its thinking if duck nuggets are worth getting wet for
Tangent:
Red foxes often have melanism, and apparently are interbreeding with coyotes.
With the melanism becoming introduced into the offspring, then breeding back in with coyotes.
And those black coyotes expanding into new habitats and picking up new habits as a result.
It's pretty cool
Foxes and Coyotes don't really interbreed. If they did, (or when, maybe it has happened rarely), they probably wouldn't have offspring that could reproduce as they are in different genus (genera? Genopode?). Where I live coyotes eat foxes.
Been around 70 years...
It's not all foxes, just red foxes.
Where I live coyotes eat foxes.
Coyotes are also attracted to menstruating dogs, and will often eat them or just their liver...
But we still see coyote dog hybrids too.
Fuck marry kill but all with one individual.
The article you sent me is about red wolves not red foxes. Coyotes and dogs are in the same genus and even then their offspring are less fertile than the parents. Coyotes generally breed dogs and then kill them when go back into heat. Dogs and wolves and coyotes are all similar to each other but the foxes are dissimilar.
You are so lucky to have that in your backyard. Even with the mosquitos.
Sincerely,
The suburbs
